As a dis­coun­ted saver fare is often only available for a sin­gle jour­ney, it is advi­sa­ble to book single-journey tickets. Online tickets can be boo­ked in advan­ce up to the next time­ta­ble chan­ge (for Deut­sche Bahn).

Plea­se check which boo­king opti­on is the che­a­pest – par­ti­cu­lar­ly if you hold a Bahn­Card, are tra­vel­ling a short distance, or a saver fare is available – and choo­se accordingly.
