Admission
The conferences organised by the German Judges’ Academy are reserved for judges and public prosecutors. The conferences may be opened up to senior judicial staff who are not judges or public prosecutors. Local public prosecutors may be admitted.
The Trier conference centre has 40 places available and the Wustrau conference centre 35. For so-called ‘small-group’ conferences, 25 places can be offered per conference.
Judges and public prosecutors from abroad may – subject to availability – attend conferences as guests. For conferences advertised within the European Judicial Training Network EJTN, 10 additional places in Trier and 5 in Wustrau are reserved for foreign participants.
Registration for the conferences must be made through official channels via the federal and state judicial administrations. Information on the allocation procedure is provided by the authorities responsible for further training. The German Judges’ Academy cannot accept registrations itself.
