Evaluation Report

In its final com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on to the Fede­ral Minis­try of Jus­ti­ce and Con­su­mer Pro­tec­tion dated 5 Febru­ary 2018, the Fede­ral Audit Office recom­men­ded that an exter­nal body be com­mis­sio­ned to eva­lua­te the Ger­man Jud­ges’ Aca­de­my. In respon­se, the Pro­gram­me Con­fe­rence of the Ger­man Jud­ges’ Aca­de­my appoin­ted a com­mis­si­on in Febru­ary 2020 tas­ked with car­ry­ing out this evaluation.

The com­mis­si­on has rea­ched the unani­mous con­clu­si­on that the trai­ning cour­ses offe­red by the Ger­man Jud­ges’ Aca­de­my meet the needs of the judi­cia­ry nati­on­wi­de in terms of both quan­ti­ty and quality.
