The conference is aimed at criminal judges and at public prosecutors.
It is intended to provide information on the basics and new developments in the field of food criminal law through thematically wide-ranging lectures. The following topics are expected to be covered, among others:

• Substantive-legal basics of food criminal law and procedural peculiarities
• Criminal law assessment of products containing hemp or CBD
• Asset confiscation in food criminal proceedings
• Food crime as a component of organised crime
• Main features of wine law
• Tasks and activities of the food and wine monitoring authorities; cooperation with the judiciary

A "fault wine tasting" is also offered, in which typical wine faults and the sensory characteristics of wines are taught.
