Drugs and alcohol in road traffic

The conference is aimed at judges of criminal courts and of administrative courts, as well as public prosecutors. It aims to provide an overall view of the various legal responses to drugs and alcohol on the road. The main emphasis is on the treatment of the following issues in lectures and discussions:

• Criminal prosecution in cases of alcohol and drugs in road traffic
• Traffic administration law: determination / assessment of the unfitness to drive motor vehicles, reinstatement of the fitness to drive
• Medical issues regarding the effects of drugs and alcohol on the fitness to drive, detection of / testing for drugs and alcohol
• Medical Psychological Examination: Contents and significance
• Functional effects and dispersion of drugs.
