This conference is aimed at judges in criminal courts and public prosecutors.
Current substantive issues will be discussed, while taking decisions of the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) into account. This shall comprise the issue of femicide. The issues related to forensics and forensic medicine, along with the analysis of biological traces, will be examined from a procedural point of view.
Subject areas include especially:

• Murder criteria
• Substantive criteria of the (conditional) intent to kill
• Abandonment of an attempt
• Forensic medical evidence and its interpretation
• Forensic DNA analysis.
