The seminar is aimed at judges and public prosecutors from all jurisdictions who are responsible for press relations in their respective organizations or at those who intend to take over such responsibilities.
The seminar is intended to outline the position of the free media as the “Fourth Power”. This will include the integration of the media in our legal systems as well as the presentation of various typical conflict situations. The practical cooperation between the press and the judiciary will also be discussed as well as legal questions. The core of the event will be a workshop devoted to practical aspects of press work in courts and prosecution offices, in particular the professional drafting of press releases and training for television and radio interviews. In addition, it is intended to visit the RBB broadcasting premises in Berlin, as well as the editorship of the Axel Springer AG, also in Berlin.
