The conference is aimed at judges of criminal courts and public prosecutors.
It deals with recurrent as well as current problematic issues in main hearings in criminal proceedings.
Subjects will be amongst others:

• Defence counsel strategies ("conflict defence")
• Hearing of witnesses
• Possibilities of victim protection
• Decisions concerning motions put forward by the defence
• Cooperation with experts
• Deals in criminal procedure
• Finding and drafting of verdicts considered form the angel of a possible later appeal proceeding.
