The seminar is aimed at judges of all courts and at public prosecutors.
Clarification of the essential facts is the indispensable prerequisite of judicial decision-making. The law studies do not provide sufficient training for this task. Determination of facts, efficient proceeding management, interrogation techniques and evidence assessment can be trained. This seminar shall contribute to this process. Planned issues are, among others:
  • Methodology of the analysis of testimonies from a “zero hypothesis”
  • Impact of personality, motivation and body language on the assessment of credibility
  • Signs of credibility / reality and their use
  • Errors: perception, memory and reproduction
  • Strategies of interrogation.
Active participation will be essential for the success of the seminar.
