The conference is aimed at judges from all jurisdictions as well as public prosecutors.
The subject of the conference is:

• The judiciary's understanding of itself and its role from a constitutional point of view
• The view from the outside: the image of judges in public
• Looking inward: judiciary and court management
• Perceptions of the judiciary and judiciary in neighboring European countries
• Independence and impartiality of judges and public prosecutors from the point of view of European law

Speakers from Germany and abroad will give lectures and discuss with the participants. The aim of the conference is to reflect on one's own self-image and the judicial external impact.

This conference is also advertised as part of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN). It is also particularly suitable for foreign participants.
