The European Public Prosecutor’s Office began its operations on 1 June 2021. It is responsible for investigating, prosecuting and bringing to judgment crimes against the financial interests of the EU.
The conference is aimed at judges and public prosecutors whose work intersects with that of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, as well as those who have a general interest in the way in which this new supranational prosecuting authority operates. Participants will receive an overview of the structure, competences and operation of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, including in cross-border cases. They will also receive practical advice which can then be integrated into their own day-to-day work.

The conference will also be advertised as part of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN). It will be also be very well suited to the needs of participants from abroad.
