The seminar is aimed at judges working in civil courts.
The building law represents a speciality in the judicial practice. It provides varied problem areas not only legally but also factually. In most of all building law cases judges need to rely on the experts' participation.
The activity wants to enlighten the problem areas, which can occur in cooperation with experts, and elaborate solutions. It also wants to illustrate possibilities to work with experts more efficiently. The seminar's subject matters are the experts' choice, the expert's interrogation in the court hearing and the legal requirements for expert's opinions. Furthermore, the participants will be informed about current problems in structural engineering.
