The conference is aimed at criminal court judges and public prosecutors, especially those with some relevant professional experience. Especially the following topics will be addressed in lectures and discussions:

• Structural forms of organized crime and typical perpetrator behaviour
• New investigative measures and approaches in the area of wiretapping and online investigation and their legal evaluation
• Specific problems at the main hearing
• Use of undercover investigators and liaison officers
• Witness protection
• Seizure of proceeds and forfeiture of assets
• Co-operation between the police and the justice system with other institutions
• International co-operation.
