Basics of juvenile criminal law

The one-week digital conference is aimed at those who have changed departments in juvenile criminal law, but also at more experienced colleagues who are interested in the interdisciplinary basics of juvenile criminal law. It serves as a well-founded preparation for work in the department of youth judges and youth prosecutors.
Section 37 of the JGG was amended on January 1st, 2022 as a result of the law to combat sexualized violence against children. According to this, juvenile court judges and youth public prosecutors should have knowledge in the fields of criminology, education, social education and youth psychology.
Taking up this claim, the present conference is intended to convey the basics of various topics as part of a one-week online seminar.
