The conference is aimed at judges from all jurisdictions as well as public prosecutors.
The roles of law, the judiciary and jurisprudence in the Nazi state are highlighted.
The question of how the post-war judiciary dealt with its own past and the crimes of the National Socialists is also examined. Lectures, discussions, film screenings and a visit to the former concentration camp and the Oranienburg / Sachsenhausen memorial are planned.

This conference is also advertised as part of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN). It is also suitable for foreign participants.
