Online-Seminar - Family law - Crash course for department switchers

The online seminar is aimed at judges who have just taken over a family department or will do so shortly. They will receive an initial introduction to the family law department and be sensitised to problem areas. Participants will receive an overview of substantive family law and procedural peculiarities.
First hints and practical tips on how to deal with family law issues will be given. However, it is not possible to provide a more in-depth introduction or to deal with legal problems in the short time available. Instead, the typical tasks in the family law department are presented in an overview and tips are given on how to work efficiently in the department and conduct negotiations.
