The conference is aimed at judges of civil courts dealing with insurance law.
It first gives an overview of the general principles of insurance contract law and deals with infringements of pre-contractual disclosure obligations and conditions with regard to the new Act on Insurance Contracts (“VVG”). In the following, special types of insurances will be highlighted. Planned topics are amongst others:

•  General liability and car insurances (including fully comprehensive insurances)
•  Life insurances and disability insurances
•  Main features of accident insurances
•  Everyday questions of private health insurance law.
